Racers Hit the Road for the First Time in 2025

The Murray State Baseball team will travel to Little Rock for their first road series of the 2025 season (Feb 28-Mar 2). The Racers swept the Trojans in their series against them last season and is 17-6 all-time against Little Rock.

Murray State is off to a 4-0 start, their best since the 2022 season. The Racers have scored 46 six runs and notched 19 extra base hits including six home runs in four games.

Earlier in the week, Murray State defeated WKU 2-1 in 12 innings (Feb 24) and UT Martin (Feb 25) 18-7.

Dan Tauken, a senior out of Congers N.Y., accounted for four hits in the two games, including his 12th inning game winning single versus WKU.

Jonathan Hogart extended his hitting streak to five games on Tuesday and has reached base in all four games in 2025. The senior from Madisonville, Ky. also leads MSU with a .650 on base percentage.

Luke Mistone, the junior transfer from Upland Calif., provided two extra base hits including a three-run home run in Murray State's winning effort against UT Martin.
