Senior Day for Racers in Final Home Game of 2024-25

Murray State women's basketball hosts Southern Illinois on Saturday for their Senior Day
Murray State women's basketball is set to battle Southern Illinois on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. The Racers will honor their four seniors in Ava Learn, Jenna Walker, Trinity White and Katelyn Young in a pregame ceremony before the contest.
Young was named a semifinalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year award and ranks in the top 15 nationally in scoring this season with 21.2 points while also averaging 6.5 rebounds. Young also recently became the highest ever Division I scorer in the state of Kentucky and the leading rebounder in program history.
Four Racers all average 14 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Haven Ford, Ava Learn, and Young. The Racers enter the contest at 19-7 on the season and are coming off of a win over Missouri State on Thursday.
Scouting Report
SIU enters the game at 4-22 on the season. The Salukis fell to Belmont 73-43 in their last time out. Gift Uchenna leads SIU with 14.6 points per game.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and can be heard on WNBS.
