Racers Continue Road Swing with Trip to Valpo

Murray State women's basketball battles Valparaiso on Sunday afternoon
Murray State women's basketball travels to Valparaiso on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Valparaiso, Indiana. The Racers are currently tied for third place in the Missouri Valley Conference at 8-3 in league play.
Katelyn Young has been on a dominant run of games, scoring 25 or more points for the last five contests. Young leads the MVC in scoring this season with 20.6 points while also averaging 6.1 rebounds.
Four Racers all average 13.6 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Haven Ford, Ava Learn, and Young. The Racers enter the contest at 14-6 on the season and are coming off of a defeat at UIC on Friday night.
MSU defeated the Beacons 82-45 on January 10.

Valpo enters the game at 8-14 on the season, falling to Belmont 69-41 in their last time out. Leah Earnest leads the Beacons with 16.9 points per game.
