Murray State hits four home runs in Saturday win

The Murray State Baseball team exploded for 21 run and 19 hits on Saturday. This was the most runs scored by the Racers in a game since scoring 25 against Feb. 20, 2022, against Butler. MSU notched 19 hits in the contest.

Four Racers went deep Saturday, Matt Vierling, Dan Tauken, Carson Garner and Charlie Jury.

Redshirt senior Jonathan Hogart provided three hits including a first inning RBI single and a ninth inning RBI double. Hogart has hit safely in all six games of 2025.

Dustin Mercer added three more hits after his 4-4 afternoon yesterday.

Isaac Silva, the transfer from New Mexico, earned his second win of the season. The junior fired seven innings allowing only one earned runs with seven strikeouts.
