Murray State will play a home and road midweek set this week

The Murray State Baseball team, (15-8, 2-4 MVC) will play a pair non-conference midweek games this week. The Racers will host the North Alabama Lions, (8-17, 5-4 ASUN), at Johnny Reagan Field in Murray Ky. Tuesday. Murray State will then travel to Martin, Tenn. to face the UT Martin Skyhawks, (10-18, 2-4 OVC), Wednesday. The Racers enter the midweek after having taken one of three from Illinois State, (Mar 28-30), and sit sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Will Vierling is currently leading the Racers with a .391 average. Vierling has reached base safely in 20 straight games for Murray State. He is also leading the MVC in on base percentage and OPS.
Murray State is leading the MVC in team batting with a .312 average.
The Racers played a home and road pair with North Alabama in 2024, winning both games of the set. Murray State is 12-6 all time against North Alabama.
The Racers will play their second game of the season against UT Martin after defeating the Skyhawks 18-7, (Feb 25), at Johnny Reagan Field. MSU is 83-37 against UT Martin in their history.
