The Racers competed in Terre Haute at Indiana State’s Gibson Track & Field Complex
The 2025 outdoor season took the Murray State Racers to the Gibson Invitational, hosted by Indiana State at the Gibson Track & Field Complex.
Andrea Segovia and Diamonasia Taylor highlighted a successful weekend for the Racers. Taylor placed runner up in the High Jump and Segovia was ninth in the Heptathlon.
Out of Urbana, Illinois, Taylor's leap is No. 2 all-time at Murray State, first this spring in the Missouri Valley Conference, sixth in the NCAA East Region and 21st in the NCAA.
Next up for the Racers in the outdoor season is an appearance in Louisville (April 25-26) at the UL Clark Wood Open. MSU's final tuneup before the MVC Championships ia (May 2-3) at Vanderbilt's Music City Challenge. The Missouri Valley Championships (May 17-18) are hosted by Southern Illinois in Carbondale.
