Murray, Ky. – Murray State extended its unbeaten streak to six matches with a 1-1 draw Thursday at Cutchin Field, the Racers' first home tie of the 2025 season.
The Racers (5-3-3) struck first in the 25th minute, when Breece Bass netted her fourth goal of the year off a Mary Hardy assist—Hardy's third of the season. It marked Bass's second goal in as many matches.
"We had a lot of fight," head coach Matt Lodge said. "We stay undefeated in conference, and we stay undefeated in our last six games."
Griselda Revolorio tallied a season-high seven saves in goal.
Northern Iowa (3-3-3) found the equalizer in the final minutes to force the draw, leaving both teams at 0-0-2 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
Eight different Racers recorded a shot, with Bass being the only one to take more than one.
Despite earning their second conference point, Lodge said there's still room for improvement.
"Disappointed," Lodge said. "Three minutes left, to give up a goal… we should be 2-0 right now. But unfortunately, we find ourselves at 0-0-2, and the schedule's only going to get tougher."
The Racers continue their homestand Sunday when they host Drake at 1 p.m.
