2007-08: Appeared in 30 games, making 29 starts ... Led the Racers in assists with 136 which ranks as the ninth best at MSU in a single season, he was ranked fifth in the OVC with 5.43 per game ... Had an assist/turnover ratio of 1.97 which ranked sixth in the league ... Shot .434 (59-of-136) from the field and .339 (20-of-59) from three-point range ... Had nine double-figure scoring games ... His season-high of 23 points came against Jacksonville State (2-2-08) when he was 6-of-9 from the field including 3-of-5 from three-point range, he was also 8-of-10 from the free throw line ... Had 15 games of five or more assists ... His career-best assist game was against Austin Peay (1-10-08) when he dished out 10 times as part of his first career double-double, he also scored 14 points ... Also had a seven assist effort (12-8-08) against Morehead State ... Enters the season with a streak of 28 straight games at least one assist ... Led the team in assists in 19 games ... 2006-07: Made a splash in his MSU debut against Jacksonville State (12-19-06) when he scored 12 points on 3-of-5 three-point shooting ... Missed the first 11 games with a knee injury ... Only played in three more games in limited minutes because of more knee problems. Sat out the rest of the season and received a medical redshirt.
Before MSU: Joined the MSU program after a stellar career at Compton, Calif. CC where he was one of the best players in the South Coast Conference ... He led the league with 7.5 assists per game and added 18 points per game in 2005-06 ... He had two double-doubles: (1-13-06) with 27 points and 11 assists in a game against East Los Angeles College ... Against Santa Monica College, he was 10-of-13 from the free throw line and 7-of-15 from the field and finished with 28 points to go along with 10 assists ... He was All-South Coast Conference twice ... Named All-California Community College Honorable Mention twice, a high honor considering there are 65 junior colleges in the state ... On the prep level, he was a big part in Dillard High School’s run of four-straight Florida State Championships ... He hit the winning shot in Dillard’s state title victory in 2002-03.
