Bio
2010-11: A valued walk-on who was with the Racer program for four seasons, he represented MSU Basketball in outstanding fashion. He appeared in 22 games and was one of the most beloved figures to wear the Blue & Gold. He was named to the OVC Commissioner’s honor roll.
2009-10: Appeared in seven games … Scored three points on 1-of-3 shooting from three-point range.
2008-09: Appeared in three games ... Was named the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2007-08: Appeared in three games.
Before MSU: Played at Station Camp High School ... Averaged 12 points per game, seven rebounds, and four assists in 2004-05 ... In 2005-06, attended Lee Academy (Lee, Maine) and had a high scoring game of 23 points ... At Station Camp HS, participated in track & field and part of the 4X400 meter and 4X800 meter relay teams that qualified for the state championships.
Personal: Son of Scott and the late Freeda McMillan and Mark Simmons ... Born April 9, 1987 ... Majoring in health & physical education ... His father Mark Simmons, played football at Murray State in the early 1980’s and his mother Freeda ran track at MSU.
