2011: Appeared in 12 games, making one start...went 0-1 with a 9.53 ERA...fanned 14 in 17 innings...had back-to-back scoreless outings against IPFW and Kentucky...struckout a career-best four in his only start against Southern Illinois...allowed one earned run over 3.2 innings of relief against Eastern Illinois.
BEFORE MSU: Played two seasons at Lake Land College...posted a 4-4 record on the mound as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner for head coach Chris Fleener at Effingham High School...went 7-1 with a 1.02 ERA as a junior in helping the Hearts to a conference championship...two-time all-conference, all-area and Cy Young Award winner...set school record for yards from scrimmage with 1,129 rushing yards and 1.437 passing yards in 2007...earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-area laurels...also helped basketball team to a regional championship as a senior.
