- Finished in the top-5 twice in the high jump at the Illinois State meet.

- Born June 12, 1997, daughter of Tammy Tewes and the late Paul Tewes.
- Comes from an athletic family.
- Her mother played volleyball at Concordia-Nebraska.
- Her father played football at Nebraska and then Concordia.
- Cousin Sam Tewes played baseball for Wichita State and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.
- Cousin Isaac Tewes played baseball at Concordia University Wisconsin.
- Cousin Luke Tewes played baseball for Drury University and now coaches there.
- Cousin Kelly Tewes ran track at Concordia University Nebraska.
- Cousin Lauren Tewes was part of the cast of the hit TV show Love Boat.
