2009: One of only two players to start all 56 games...hit .267 with seven doubles, three triples, three home runs, 20 RBIs and 40 runs scored...led team with nine stolen bases...scored three runs in a road victory over Memphis...went 3-for-6 with three runs scored in the series opener against North Dakota State...tripled and hit his first career home run in the second game of a doubleheader against Mid-Continent...went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored in the series-opening victory over SEMO...was 2-for-5 with a triple, home run and three RBIs against UT Martin...went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in the OVC Tournament victory over Morehead State...scored the game-winning run in the walk-off victory against Eastern Illinois a few hours later.
2008: Started all 51 games at shortstop...only player to appear in every game...hit .299 with nine doubles, one triple and 30 RBIs...led the team with 10 stolen bases...third on the team with 15 multi-hit games and tied for second with six multi-RBI games...belted two doubles and drove in three runs in the series finale against Bradley...had a season-high three hits on three occasions...went 3-for-6 with a career-best four RBIs against Southern Illinois...ended the season with a three-hit performance against Austin Peay.
2007: Played in 26 games with six starts...had a stolen base at Samford...picked up his first career hits in a 2-for-4 venture at Southern Illinois, driving in a run.
BEFORE MSU: Played four seasons at Wentzville Holt High under coach Joel Adam...a four-year varsity starter...helped the Indians to the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 conference championships...a 2006 pre-season All-American...had 26 doubles and 21 stolen bases in 2006...helped WHHS to a 26-4 mark in 2005...named to all-state second team, all-conference first team and All-Metro (St. Louis) first team honors...hit six home runs in 2005...helped the Indians to the 2004 district championship...also played football and basketball...graduated from Wentzville Holt High School in 2006 among the top 25 with a 3.75 grade-point average...a member of the National Honor Society...served on the school newspaper...a four-year honoree on the All-Academic Team.
