BEFORE MSU: Played four seasons at Western Hills High School for head coach Craig Fry...second-team all-state selection after hitting .429 with 16 doubles, 34 runs, 24 RBIs and a .738 slugging percentage...hit .411 with 33 RBIs, 33 runs scored and five home runs as a junior...two-time selection to the Kentucky All-Star Team and a three-time selection to the all-county team...WHHS career record holder for average (.404), hits (128), doubles (37), RBIs (68) and runs scored (108).
PERSONAL: Born Charles Jordan Queen on Oct. 9, 1990...son of Chuck and Melissa Queen...has two sisters, Hollie and Julie...majoring in biology.
