2009: Started 46 games at second base...hit .337 with nine doubles, four triples and 26 RBIs....had 17 multi-hit games, including nine three-hit games...posted a 10-game hit streak in early April...went 1-for-3 with an RBI in first collegiate game...recorded back-to-back three-hit games against North Dakota State and Mississippi Valley State...went 3-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBIs in a victory over St. Louis...had a productive series against SEMO by going 7-for-12 with five runs scored...drove in a pair of runs in the series opener against UT Martin.
BEFORE MSU: Four-year letterwinner for coach Herb Hammond at Henry Clay High School...earned all-state and first-team all-city honors as a senior after hitting .424 with 14 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 48 runs scored...garnered second-team all-city accolades as a sophomore and junior after helping lead team to district championships...hit .350 with eight doubles, four triples, three home runs and 34 runs scored as a junior...scored 31 runs, while hitting .342 with 11 doubles, five triples and two home runs as a sophomore...hit .313 with six doubles and 18 runs scored as a freshman.
