2015-16: Placed ninth atht the OVC Outdoor Championship.. Ran a personal best in the 60m hurdles (9.53) and the 100m hurdles (14.70)... Threw a personal best 21.94m (72') in the javelin...
2014-15: Competed in the shot put for the first time during indoor season... Set personal records in the 100 meters (13.14), 100 meter hurdles (15.45), and Javelin (17.03m) during outdoor season...
2013-14: Redshirt season... Did not compete
2012-13: Finished in 11th place at the OVC Indoor Championships in the Long Jump with a personal best jump of 5.25 meters ... Ran 59.82 for 400 meters indoors and jumped 10.53 meters in the triple jump at the SIU Fast Start Meet ... Ran a personal best 26.04 in the 200 meters at the Mississippi Open.
Before MSU: Qualified for the Tennessee State Track & Field Championships in the 4x200, the 4x100, the 400 meters, the long jump and the triple jump … Placed second at the state meet in the long jump in 2011 … Placed sixth in the event in 2010 … Took third in the triple jump at the state meet … Was named the Region 3 Female Athlete of the Year … Ran a PR of 57.51 in the 400m … Had a PR jump of 17-6.5 in the long jump … Was named all-state in soccer and all-district in basketball in high school … Also was a member of FCA … member of the Honor Roll.
Personal: Born February 16, 1994 to Joe and Angelita Taylor ... Has one brother, Jamael and one sister, Faith ... Majoring in Athletic Training.
