Men’s Tennis Continues Home Stand with First Home OVC Contests

The matches are the final of five-straight home matches for Murray State, who have three more slated to be played on the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts this season. If there is inclement weather the matches will be moved to the indoor Kenlake Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky.
EKU heads into this Friday's match with a 12-4 mark after falling to No. 14 Kentucky (March 22), 6-0. The Colonels have played one conference match so far in 2011, earning a 5-2 win over Austin Peay. EKU has won the last five matches against the Racers, including the last home meeting, March 28, 2009 (6-1).
Morehead State is 6-5 overall this season, including a 0-1 record against the OVC. The Eagles dropped a 6-1 decision to Austin Peay (March 19), but had been the winner in the previous five matches. In the last five meetings, Murray State has come out on top in three, including the last home meeting, March 27, 2009 (4-3).
