The Breds return to Ohio Valley Conference action as they play host to UT Martin in a three-game series. The series is set to get underway at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, and continue with a 2p.m. first pitch Friday and a 1 p.m. start on Saturday.

The Breds own a commanding 58-27-0 advantage in the all-time series. MSU has been even more dominant since 200 as the Breds are 27-8 over that span. MSU is 32-13 in games played at Reagan Field, and have won six straight and 11 of the last 12 played at home.

The Breds step back into OVC action for a key series against UT Martin. The series gets underway Thursday at 2 p.m., and continues Friday at 2 p.m. at Saturday at 1 p.m.

Brotherly Love
The two pitching coaches in this series will be very familiar with each other. MSU pitching coach Chris Cole is the older brother of UTM pitching coach Zac Cole. Chris was also the pitching coach at Tennessee Tech when Zac pitched for the Golden Eagles.
Isaak's Versatility
Travis Isaak has shown his versatility this season as the senior has started at least one game at all four infield positions. Isaak has made 13 starts at third base, 12 starts at shortstop, four starts at second base and one start at first base.
Isaak Approaches Doubles Record
Senior third baseman Travis Isaak is well on his way to setting a new school record for doubles. Just passed the halfway point of the season, Isaak has an NCAA-best 17 doubles and needs only four more to reach the record of 21 set by Tyler Pittman (2006) and Brett McCutchan (2003). Isaak finished last season with 18 doubles.
Rhodes Swinging a Hot Bat
Jacob Rhodes is in the midst of his longest hitting streak of his career. Over the past 10 games, Rhodes is hitting .487, with four doubles, a triple, two home runs,19 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has collected seven multi-hit games and driven in at least one run in eight games.
Eggo Goes Deep
Brandon Eggenschwiler hit his first career home run in the series finale at Tennessee Tech. Eggo turned on an inside fastball and hit a two-run shot to right field.
Isaak Rips 3 Doubles
Senior Travis Isaak collected a career-best three doubles in the middle game against Tennessee Tech. In his final three at-bats on the game, Isaak doubled to right center, doubled off the right-field fence and doubled off the fence in left center.
On Deck
The Breds remain at home as they play host Evansville in a non-conference game on April 11. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
