Results
After nearly a month between matches, Murray State's men's tennis team showed some rust in Murfreesboro, Tenn. against Middle Tennessee. The Racers dropped the match 6-0 and fall to 1-4 on the season.
The teams decided only to play singles competition, bypassing the doubles portion of the match. Playing at the No. 2 draw, Max McLean lost a hard-fought first set, 7-5, to David Fox. Fox finished McLean off in the second set with a 6-0 win.Â
Both Nicholas Mitric and David Hess jumped up a draw to No's. three and five respectively. Mitric fell 6-2, 6-2 to Victor Hoang while Hess was taken down 6-1, 6-2 by Sam Matheson.Â
The Racers return to the court later this week at Chattanooga, Thursday, March 15. First serve is scheduled for noon.Â
