The Murray State Track and Field team travels to Charleston, Illinois to compete in the John Craft Invite on Saturday.
The women's events begin at 9:00 am with the women's multis and the 60m hurdles.
Coming into the meet, Brittany Bohn holds the best time in the OVC in the Mile (4:59). Tamdra Lawrence set a new personal record in the 200 meters at the Commodore Invitational with a time of 24.57. The time ranks second in the OVC and fourth all-time at Murray State. Jabreuna Brimlett set a new personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.80. The time ranks seventh in the OVC and fourth all-time at MSU.
In the field events Brimlett is second in the OVC in the long jump with a jump of 5.54m (18'2.25"). Taylor McCammon set a new personal record this season at the Commodore Invitational with a jump of 5.45m (17'10.75"). Senior Brianna McCarthy set a new personal record this season in the weight throw with a throw of 14.49m (47'6.5").
