Track Split for Weekend Meets

The Murray State women's track and field team competes in two meets over the weekend. The Racers compete in the Missouri State Invitational on Friday and the Virginia Challenge on Friday and Saturday.
In their last meet, the Racers had eleven top ten finishes. Some of those include Tamdra Lawrence who made her debut in the 100 meters finishing in fifth with a time of 12.03. She also ran 24.86 in the 200 meters to finish sixth in the eventÂ
Anna Curlin ran a new personal best in the 400 meters to finish in seventh with a time of 57.22. Rebekah Priddy also set a personal best in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Priddy finished fourth in the event as she ran 11:02 in the event. Her time ranks fourth all-time in the event.
Christina Meinhardt placed ninth in the shot put at the WKU Hilltopper Relays. Meinhardt threw a personal best 12.83 meters (42'1") in the event. Her throw ranks eighth all-time in program history.
Field events are set to start at 1:30 p.m. at the Missouri State Invitational. Running events are set to begin at 3 p.m. At the Virginia Challenge, Friday's field events are set for 10 a.m. with running events to start at 7 p.m. Live results from the Virginia Challenge will be available courtesy of Flash Results.
