The Game
The Murray State women's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the CFSB Center Monday to host North Alabama at the CFSB Center at 5 p.m.
Series At A Glance
Wednesday will be just the third all-time meeting between Murray State and North Alabama with MSU leading the all-time series 2-0 after picking up a 94-80 win last season in Florence. Wednesday will also mark the Lions' first ever trip to Murray and the CFSB Center.
Scouting The Lions
North Alabama enters Wednesday's contest at 4-4 on the season after a 67-53 victory over Tennessee Southern Saturday in Florence.
The Lions are currently averaging 77.5 points on 44.1-percent shooting with 37.9 rebounds per game, while their opponents average 69.1 points on 42.6-percent shooting with 36.1 rebounds per game.
Macey Lee leads six Lions that are currently averaging double-digits at 14.6, to go along with a team-high 9.7 rebounds per game. However, she is not the only Lion excelling at scoring and rebounding as Skyler Gill has been good for 11.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, so far this season.
A Win Would...
After a loss to Samford last time out, a win Wednesday would prevent the Racers from losing back-to-back games for the first time this season.
The Magic Number
Murray State is currently 5-0 this season when four or more Racers reach double-digits. Additionally, MSU is 5-2 when three or more Racers score double-figures. The Racers have failed to place at least three players in double-digits only once this season, a game they won anyway against Cumberlands (KY).
