All-Time Series At A Glance
Murray State leads the all-time rivalry series with Austin Peay, 23-12, but the Govs have made strides as of late with seven of those wins coming in the last 12 games. In Clarksville, the Racers lead 9-6, but Murray State has won just one of the last five meetings there. The two teams most recently met in Murray in March with the Racers taking both games of the doubleheader, 2-1 and 2-0.
Scouting The Govs
The Govs enter Tuesday's doubleheader at 24-20 overall and 11-9 in league play after sweeping Eastern Illinois last weekend in Charleston.
Austin Peay currently hits .294 as a team, led by Lexi Osowski who is hitting .445 with 40 RBIS, 13 doubles and 12 home runs.

A doubleheader sweep Wednesday would not only give the Racers the season sweep over the Govs, but it would, at least, keep them tied atop the OVC standings, depending on the outcome of the Bruins' doubleheader with Tennessee State.
Miss 500
Havin already set the school's single-game, season and career strikeout record, Hannah James became the first Racer ever to record 500 career strikeouts in Saturday's win over Southeast Missouri State.
A Three-Peat
Hannah James won her third consecutive and sixth overall OVC Pitcher of the Week honor Monday. The junior threw two complete game shutouts on the week, allowing no runs on just four hits with 19 strikeouts and three walks over 14.0 innings of work. She ended the week with a 0.00, .087 opponent's batting average, a 6.3:1 strikeout-to-walk and 9.5 strikeouts per seven innings. Currently, James has not allowed an earned run in 32 consecutive innings.
Creeping Closer
Logan Braundmeier added to her school single-season double record in game two of the doubleheader against SEMO Sunday with her 22nd two-bagger of the season. She is now three from tying the OVC record of 25 and seven from tying the NCAA DI record of 29.
All Good Things…
Sunday's loss in the SEMO series finale put an end to a 17-game unbeaten streak at home for the Racers. The streak for MSU began with game two of a doubleheader against Loyola Chicago March 10, after losing their home opener earlier in the day to the Ramblers, 3-4 in nine innings.
