Racers Set to Host Popeyes Battle of the Border

Murray State track and field will host Austin Peay for a Popeyes Battle of the Border dual meet.
Murray State track and field is set to host Austin Peay for a Popeyes Battle of the Border dual meet, Friday. The meet will be the final home meet for the Racers.

MSU is coming off a strong week at Ole Miss, with Kayla Bell earning the Missouri Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week after breaking the school record.

The Racers are currently ranked 14th in the Southeast Region, while the Govs are 35th in the South Region.

The meet will start with the discus throw at 1 p.m.
