2024-25 is the 100th season of collegiate basketball at Murray State.
The Racers meet the UT Arlington Mavericks in Jacksonville, Florida Tuesday in a one-game neutral-site game at Florida State College Arena.
The game marks the second meeting between the two schools that have horse mascots since their first meeting in Murray in 1968.
The Racers are coming off a 77-75 home defeat to Utah Valley on Friday.
Five games into the 2024-25 season, the Racers are balanced in scoring with five in double-figures and another averaging 9.9ppg.
Terence Harcum leads MSU with 14.4ppg.
He's 3rd in the MVC with 16 made 3-pointers.
After giving 10+ 3-point baskets in 10 games last season, the high against the Racers in the first five games is eight by Pittsburgh.
The Racers are second in the MVC in holding opponents to 27 percent on 23-of-85 (.271). Missouri State leads the MVC at 26 percent on 23-of-86 (.267)

The game marks the opener to the Racers' third season in the Missouri Valley Conference.
