The Wildcats are led by Nick Lopez, who carries a .367 batting average with 10 runs scored and 10 RBIs. Emilien Pitre leads the team with 21 hits, 14 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Austin Fawley is the only player on Kentucky's roster with more than one home run, having hit two in four games played this season.
Drew Lafferty is the projected starter for the Wildcats, who has allowed no runs on two hits and four walks with seven strikeouts through 10 innings on the mound. He carries a 1-0 record and has been a part of two shutouts so far this year.
