Racers Visit Former Conference Foe at Morehead State

Murray State women's basketball travels to Morehead State for midweek matchup
The Murray State Racers (5-2) travel to Morehead, Kentucky, to take on the Morehead State Eagles (3-4) tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3rd, at 6:00 PM EST. The Racers are looking to extend their three-game winning streak after a successfu 2-0Â trip to the Daytona Beach Classic with wins over George Mason and Boston College.
Murray State's game plan revolves around their dominant forward, Sharnecce Currie-Jelks. She is currently averaging 20.9 points and 10.1 rebounds, and was named U.S. Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Week. The offense also streams from guard Halli Poock, who contributes 15.6 points per game.Â
Haven Ford returns to her hometown for the matchup as the junior is averaging 15.0 points.
