Murray State women's basketball defeated Morehead State 85-78 on Wednesday Night
Murray St. overcame a slow start and a halftime deficit to defeat Morehead St. 85-78 at Johnson Arena in Morehead, Kentucky, on December 3, 2025. The win moved Murray St. to 6-2 on the season, while Morehead St. fell to 3-5.
The Racers found themselves in an early hole, trailing 16-11 after the first quarter, but bounced back with a high-scoring second period to cut the halftime deficit to 41-39. Murray St. continued its momentum in the second half, reclaiming the lead in the third quarter and outscoring Morehead St. 25-21 in the final frame to seal the victory.
