Murray State women's basketball travels to Clarksville, Tenn. for battle with Austin Peay
The Murray State women's basketball team hits the road to face longtime rival Austin Peay Governors on Saturday, December 6. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT at the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The Racers enter the contest on a four-game win streak, bringing a strong 6-2 overall record into the matchup. Most recently, Murray State defeated Morehead State 85-78, fueled by outstanding performances from junior guard Haven Ford (21 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals) and junior forward Sharnecce Currie-Jelks, who posted a dominant double-double (20 points, 14 rebounds). Halli Poock and Keslyn Secrist continue to provide reliable scoring threats alongside Ford and Currie-Jelks, making Murray State a difficult team to contain.
