Murray State women's basketball hosts Bradley as part of a doubleheader at the Bank on Sunday
The Murray State Racers look to extend their nine-game winning streak Sunday when they host the Bradley Braves in a Missouri Valley Conference clash at the CFSB Center.
Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CST, serving as the second half of a doubleheader following the men's contest between the two schools.
The Racers (11-2, 2-0 MVC) enter the game as the league's most potent offense, averaging a conference-best 84.3 points per game. Murray State is coming off a 101-93 double-overtime victory over Illinois State on Friday. The attack is anchored by Sharnecce Currie-Jelks, who leads the MVC in both scoring (20.2 ppg) and rebounding (11.5 rpg), alongside Halli Poock, who contributes 18.5 points per contest.
Bradley (8-5, 1-1 MVC) comes to MSU following a recent road loss to Belmont. The Braves lead the conference in three-point defense, holding opponents to just 24.7% from deep. Senior Kaylen Nelson paces the Bradley offense with 17.2 points per game and a league-leading 41.2% shooting mark from behind the arc.
