Murray State women's basketball takes on Indiana State on Thursday night
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Missouri Valley Conference-leading Murray State Racers (19-3) look to extend their three-game winning streak Thursday night when they visit the Indiana State Sycamores (7-13) at the Hulman Center.
The Racers are coming off a statement 78-71 road victory against Belmont, fueled by a 23-point performance from junior guard Halli Poock. Poock leads a high-powered offense averaging over 20 points per game, alongside Sharnecce Currie-Jelks, who is averaging a double-double with 19.1 points and 11.7 rebounds. Murray State's roster also features former Sycamore Keslyn Secrist, who returns to Terre Haute averaging 12.0 points per contest.
Indiana State enters the matchup with momentum after an undefeated road trip, most recently edging out Evansville 78-75. The Sycamores are led by Clemisha Prackett, who dominated their last outing with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
