Will enter the ?05-06 season as the one player that the Racers will look to get the ball to...Proved to be a deadly shooter last season...Is an OVC Player of the Year candidate...Will team with Keith Jenifer to produce one of the best guard tandems in the league...Pearson will look to exert his leadership on this year’s edition of the Racers.
2004-2005 Season: As a sophomore, was the Racers’ leading scorer with 14.5 per game, ranking him 12th in the OVC...Was one of only two guards ranked in the top-10 in OVC field-goal percentage....Shot .447 (138-309) for the season, good for eighth place in the OVC...Also ranked fourth in three pointers made per game (2.44) and total made three-pointers (66)...An excellent defender, Pearson ranked fifth in the OVC with 52 steals...He also had a stretch of 12 straight games in which he made at least one three...Made a team-best 20 straight free throws...Pearson enjoyed eight games in which he scored 21 or more points.
2003-2004 Season: Sat out of competition and practiced with the Racer squad.
2002-2003 Season: Turned in impressive freshman season at Ole Miss...Saw action in all 29 games and started all but five...Averaged 25.6 minutes per game, fourth-best on the team...Scored 4.5 points per game and shot 50% from the field...Hit 43% from three- point range going 19-for-44...Season high of 10 points came twice in games against Auburn and Georgia.        Â
