Another member of the talented recruiting class, Wright brings the ability to score in bunches...A lefty, he will become a great player in the OVC.
High School: He was leading scorer in all of the state of Georgia as a senior as he averaged 31.8 points per game and grabbed 15.1 rebounds per game...He has two games in which he scored more than 50 points...He led Johnson HS to the Georgia 3A quarterfinals...Wright battled one of the state’s top players, Octavius Spann who is a Georgetown signee...Wright scored 35 points and had 15 rebounds in his last game as a high school player...Wright was the Gainesville Times player of the year...Was named all-state in Georgia...Reached 1,000 career points as a sophomore and ended his prep career with more than 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
