2004-2005 Season: Took a reshirt season as a freshman to gain strength and to improve his overall game.
High School: Enjoyed a great high school career with one of the top prep programs in the country...During his time at Pike High School in the Indianapolis metro area, McCoy was part of a team that was ranked second in the country according to USA Today...He played sparingly as a junior because he had six teammates who signed division-I scholarships...As a senior, he averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds per game...His team won the sectional championship.
