HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Courier Journal First Team All-State honors following a senior season in which he rushed for 1,126 yards, scored 17 touchdowns on the ground and six more through the air ... Selected to the Lexington Herald-Leader Class of the Commonwealth ... Finished 2006 with 26 total touchdowns and became the only player in Henderson County High School history to finish his career in the top 10 in rushing yards (2,153) and receiving yards (1,343) ... Set a school record with 54 career touchdowns ... Caught 36 passes for 508 yards as a senior ... Also intercepted seven passes on defense in 2006 ... Following his junior campaign, the Associated Press and the Courier Journal selected Lightfoot to their honorable mention all-state teams ...
