The Murray State Racers Soccer team set a school single game record with 11 goals Friday at Cutchin Field in a shutout win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
The Racers started early when Lacey Latimer's header off a corner kick from Sara Struve found the back of the net only
MSU led the Lions 3-0 at half time.
Latimer tied the MSU single game mark with her fourth goal at 53:10 on an assist from Krista Llewellyn.
After Latimer's four goals, Llewellyn then added her own hat trick with goals at 55:50, 57:10, and 59:05 to put the Racers up 7-0 against the over matched Lions.
Rebekah Clay, Jaclyn Ramage, Melisa Curry and Tara Eby added goals for a MSU 11-0 win.
The Racers ended the day breaking several more team and individual records.
The Racers 11 goals set a team mark that had stood since 2000 when the Racers scored nine goals on Alabama A&M.
It also sets a new Ohio Valley Conference mark breaking the nine goals Morehead State scored against Charleston in 2000 and Austin Peay against Campbellsville in 2003.
Latimer tied the MSU single game record with four goals and now shares the mark with Jackie Thomas who scored four in the same Alabama A&M game in 2000, this also ties her with UT-Martin's Kim Thompson who scored four against North Alabama in 1998.
Latimer also broke Thomas' record for single game points with 10 which is also an OVC record.
The Racers tied a team record with 24 shots, and team record with eight assists.
MSU's 30 points in the game set a new team mark.
