Men’s Tennis Scheduled to Play Four Spring Break Matches

MSU will head to Murfreesboro, Tenn., Monday, March 14 for a 2 p.m. match with MTSU at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center. The Blue Raiders are 5-8 on the season after snapping a seven-match losing streak with a 4-3 win over Ball State last weekend. MTSU has played two other teams from the Ohio Valley Conference this season, earning wins over Tennessee Tech and Morehead State.
The Racers will then host Bethel, Tuesday, Wednesday, March 16 starting at 2 p.m. The Wildcats are 2-3 on the season and have lost their last two matches. Last season MSU earned a 5-2 win over Bethel.
Drake will then head to Murray, Ky., Friday, March 18 for a noon match. The Bulldogs are 9-2 this season and will play two more matches before facing the Racers.
The final home match of Spring Break is scheduled against Western Kentucky, Saturday, March 19 at noon. MSU and the Hilltoppers faced each other earlier this season, with the Racers earning a 5-2 win. WKU is now 3-8 on the season and has not played a match since March 7.
