Men’s Tennis Drops First OVC Match of 2012 Season

The Murray State men's tennis team lost its first Ohio Valley Conference match of the 2012 campaign to Austin Peay, 6-1, at the Governors Tennis Center.
The Racers (2-5, 0-1 OVC) lone point came from junior Tyler Jeffers. Jeffers defeated Iago Seffrin at No. 5 doubles 6-2, 6-0.
MSU will return home for a Sunday, March 18 league match against SIU Edwardsville. The match is slated to start at noon at the Bennie Purcell Tennis Courts, with the women's teams facing each other at the same times as well.
