Racers at Alabama Relays

Murray State track and field team opened up their 2015 outdoor campaign at the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Day Three
MSU took to day three as strong as they could to finish their first outdoor meet of the season.

Ali Hester finished in seventh with a personal record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:10.69. Rebekah Priddy finished in 11:59.82.

Ashley Conway went a distance of 5.79m in the long jump, which now stands as her personal best.
Â
Taylor McCammon and Jolyta Henderson competed in the 100m hurdles for the first time and finished with respective times of 15.36 and 16.89.

Emma Gilmore finished the 800m run in 2:15.47. Tia Weston finished in 2:24.18, while Raeven Wilson finished in 2:24.54.

Tonia Pratt competed in the discus and threw a distance of 44.02m.

The 4x100m relay team finished in 47.80. The distance medley relays had two teams compete. Abbie Oliver, Raeven Wilson, Emani Griffin and Vallery Korir finished in tenth with a time of 12:27.47, while Leah Krause Raeven Wilson, Emani Griffin and Ali Hester finished in 12:59.20. The 4x400m relay team finished in 3:59.30.Â
Day Two
Day two started with the 400m hurdles where three Racers competed. Taylor Adcock finished in 1:05.84. Kristen Higgins and Sarah Bindel competed in the 400m hurdles for the first time and finished in 1:08.92 and 1:09.36, respectively.

In her first 100m dash in the outdoor, Deja Rodgers finished fifth with a time of 12.23. Taylor McCammon finished in 12.74 for her first 100m dash.

Natalie Pattin, Summer Wheeler and Anna Curlin competed in the 400m for the first time. Pattin finished in 59. 92, while Wheeler and Curlin finished in respective times of 1:00.41, and 1:00.96.

Ali Hester set a career-best when she finished when the 1500m in 4:38.22. Brittany Bohn and Emma Gilmore finished in 4:43.78 and 4:45.59, respectively.

For the first time, Vallery Korir competed in the 5000m and finished 10th in 17:03.37. Meagan Smith and Emily Flaherty also competed in their first outdoor 5000m and finished in a respective time of 18:11.78 and 19:09.32.

Tonia Pratt finished seventh in the outdoor shot put with a distance of 13.92m. Darcy Sullivan competed in the event for the first time and threw a distance of 9.13m. Â

The 1600 sprint medley comprised of Shaw, Tia Weston, Rodgers, and Wheeler finished in 4:15.66.

The final day consists of the discus throw, long jump, pole vault, 4x100m relay, 100m hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, 800m, distance medley relay, and 4x400m relay.

Tonia Pratt finished in fifth in the hammer throw when she threw a distance of 54.72m.

Sydney Potts, Mariana Keller, and Kennedy Berkley all competed in the javelin. Sydney Potts threw a distance of 37.54m. While Keller and Berkley threw respective distances of 30.27m and 22.35m.

Friday, the Racers will compete in the triple jump, high jump, shot put, 4x200m relay, 400m hurdles, 100m, 400m, 1500m, 1600m sprint medley, and 5000m.Â
