Lipscomb Too Much For Racers

The Murray State men's tennis team was defeated 7-0 by Lipscomb on Friday..
The Racers saw a strong effort at the No. 3 doubles court. David Hess and Javier Villar battled with their opponent to keep the score close. Unfortunately for MSU, the pair was unable to finish the match as the doubles point was decided in Lipscomb's favor on the first and second courts.
In the singles matches, the Racers saw some changes in their lineup. David Schrott played his second match of the season the the No. 3 singles. He was defeated 6-0, 6-4. Srdjan Trosic moved to the No. 4 singles where he was defeated 6-2, 6-1. Will True played his second straight match at the No. 2 singles but was defeated 6-0, 6-2.
The Murray State men's tennis team is back in action as they open Ohio Valley Conference play. The Racers travel to take on Morehead State on Friday and Eastern Kentucky on March 19.
