Racers Return To Conference Play - Travel To Tennessee Tech & Jacksonville St.

The Racers return to conference play as they face Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State on the road this Thursday and Sunday.
Last Time On Racer Soccer…
The Racers went 1-1-0 against Morehead State and Saint Loius last week. Rebecca Kubin took a wonderful pass from Cori Cain, beating the keeper to give Murray a 1-0 OT win at Morehead. Coming back to Cutchin Field to battle Saint Louis, the Racers tasted defeat for the first time this year, coming up short against the Billikens by a socre of 1-0.
Streak Ends
After losing to Saint Louis last season on September 20, the Racers compiled seven wins and three ties to end the 2016 regular season. The 2017 season saw the Racers pop off six wins in a row, giving them a streak of 16 games not recording a loss, resulting in 13 wins and three ties in that spand.
Moving On Up
The Racers are now ranked 56th in the most recent RPI listing. With this, Murray State is the highest ranked team in the state of Kentucky and the OVC.

Harriet Withers is chasing multiple Racer records this year. Along with being a goal away from tying the all-time career goal record (34), she is also two points away from tying the most points (81) as a Racer.
