The Murray State women's track and field team wrapped up the Georgia Tech Invitational with numerous PR's set.
"Overall this weekend the team as a whole took a step in the right direction. There were numerous PRs and MSU top ten performances. D'Myia Thornton in the 400, Emily Heil in the pole vault and Destiny Carey in the shot put were amazing, but the highlight came from Hilary McAdam who ran a personal best by over 3 seconds in the 800 which puts her fourth all-time at MSU and third in the OVC currently this year. We had good performances in every event group this weekend. We have three weeks for everyone to be on the same page and there is no question that we will get there," said head coach Adam Kiesler after the Georgia Tech Invitational.
200-Meter Dash
Daijah White led the way for the Racers with a 21st place finish with a time of 24.95. White set a lifetime PR in the 200-meter dash with that time. Aubrey Main finished with a time of 26.43.
