MSU Looks For Winning Formula At Bradley

The Murray State Racers (13-12, 8-7 MVC) look to get their season going in the right direction Saturday when they travel to play the Bradley Braves (18-8, 11-4 MVC) for the first time at the Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois since they met in an NIT game there in 1994.

The Braves visited Murray State for the first time since 1982 back on Jan. 4, which became a Racer win 67-58 at the CFSB Center. DJ Burns scored 16 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Bradley made a run and cut the MSU lead to five points with 48 seconds remaining, but the Racers held by making four-straight free throws.

The 2023 State Farm MVC Basketball Tournament is coming fast March 2-5 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. All-session tickets (11 games) start at $175.
