Racers Take On Inaugural MVC Championship

Murray State track and field takes on their first MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships
Murray State track and field takes on its inaugural Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships in Chicago, Sunday and Monday. The Racers are picked to place third in the Pre-Championship Coaches Poll as voted by the league's 12 head coaches.

The Racers saw five program record renewals leading up to the championships. Four Racers currently leads an event in the MVC performance list; Kayla Bell leads the 400m run, Meghan Fletcher leads the high jump, Rachel Hagans in the long jump and Jenna Pauly in the pentathlon.

The two-day meet will start with the multis at 10 a.m., Sunday.
