Game Story Lines

The Racers and Drake Bulldogs meet for the fourth time in the MVC with the Racers looking for their first win.
Saturday's game in Des Moines marks their second visit to the Knapp Center after dropping an 82-64 decision there last season.
The Racers enter the game 8-7 and tied with UNI and Belmont for fourth place in The Valley, tied with Southern Illinois, UNI and Belmont.
The top-3 in the MVC continues to be Indiana State on top (13-2), with Drake (12-3) in second and Bradley (10-5) in third place.
The Bulldogs are the final undefeated MVC team this season at home with a mark of 13-0.
In Wednesday's 82-72 home win over Missouri State, the Racers overcame trailing at the half for the first time this season in 10 instances and scored 82 points for their best output since scoring 85 points at UIC (Jan. 2).
MSU 47-point second half was their best output in the second half this season.
The Racers set their season-high with 31 made field goals and topped that in the second meeting tonight with the Bears as they made 33 shots.
The Racers are ninth in NCAA DI in fewest turnovers per game at 9.3 per game.
They gave the ball up only eight times against the bears.
Nick Ellington's 23-point performance marked the 11th time this season in which the Racers have had a 20-point man.
JaCobi Wood flirted with a triple-double against the Bears, just two rebounds from the mark.
The Valley conducts its 34th St. Louis-based postseason men's basketball championship at Arch Madness. Tournament dates are March 7-10 (Thursday-Sunday).
