The Racers meet Belmont for the second time this season after the Bruins won the first meeting in Nashville (Feb. 7) 69-64.
In the first meeting, Quincy Anderson scored 21 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double.
The Racers have won 3 of the last 4 games and the Bruins have won 6 of the last 9.
At the CFSB Center, the Racers have won the last two with a 1-point a year ago and a 76-43 win in 2022.
The Racers have won three in a row at the CFSB Center after Wednesday's victory over Valparaiso and MSU can end the 2023-24 home season on a four-game win streak if they can defeat the Bruins.
MSU is 8-7 at home this season.
Wednesday's game is also Senior Day as Quincy Anderson, Rob Perry and Shawn Walker, Jr. will be honored on their final home game at Murray State. Team managers Blake Dattilo and Logan Dick will also be recognized.
The Belmont game marks the start of the final week of the regular season.
The Racers finish up their second season in Missouri Valley Conference basketball at Indiana State (March 3).
By Sunday evening, the seeding will be set and the Racers will know their first round assignment at State Farm Arch Madness in St. Louis.
The Racers defeated Valparaiso and lost to Drake in their first try at Arch Madness in 2023.
MVC conducts its 34th St. Louis-based postseason MBB championship at Arch Madness. Tournament dates are March 7-10.
