- GAME UPDATE - Due to the ongoing campus power outage, today's game against UNI was canceled and moved to Nashville where the game will be played Monday at the Curb Event Center at 6Â p.m.
- 2024-25 is the 100th season of collegiate basketball at Murray State & third in The MVC.
- The Racers have won the first two games of their season-long three-game home stand after Tuesday's 63-53 win over the UIC Flames Tuesday at the CFSB Center.
- The Racers took care of business Saturday with a 74-56 victory at Valparaiso for their fifth road win of the 2024-25 season.
- Now 4-4 at home this season in MVC games, the Racers have three home games remaining this season: home today against UNI, next Wednesday against Southern Illinois and Feb. 25 vs Indiana State.
- With the usual competitiveness of The Valley coming through again in 2024-25, the league headed into the weekend with the Racers part of a four-team log jam for fifth place along with Illinois State, UIC and Southern Illinois.
- Through 26Â games, the Racers are first in the MVC in getting to the free throw line (38th nationally) at 22.6 attempts and 2nd in the league (56th) in making 16.1 per game.
- The Racers are also defending the 3-point shot well and rank 3rd in the MVC (102nd) as opponents are shooting just 32 percent.
- In the wins over Valparaiso and UIC, they combined to hit 8-of-35 for .228. from the 3-point line against the Racers.
