2013-14: Set personal-bests in the weight throw, hammer throw and javelin … Both the hammer throw (37.49m) and javelin (24.30m) came at the Margaret Simmons Invitational … Her weight throw PR (12.74m) took place at the SIU Invitational … Threw the second furthest distance mark on the team, 36.38m at the Shamrock Invitational.
2012-13: Placed 13th at the OVC Outdoor Championship in the discus with a throw of 33.60m ... Set a personal record at the Margaret Simmons Invitational in the discus, 36.91m to finish second and a then-PR in the hammer throw, 32.44m and finished eighth.
Before MSU: Two-time Illinois State Champion in the discus … Placed second at the Junior Olympics in the discus in 2010 … Won the Jimmy Smith Award ... Also played softball at Quincy Senior High School and was named Western Big Six All-Conference, First Team All-Area and team MVP.
Personal: Born July 16, 1994 ... Only child of Eric and Laura Hoke ... Both parents attended Washburn University where Eric played football and Laura played volleyball ... Majoring in elementary education.
