AT MSU: Placed fifth in the 10k at the 2008 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships... At the 2008 OVC Indoor Championships placed 19th in the 3k run with a time of 11:17.05 and 12th in the 5k run with a time of 19:40.74.
BEFORE MSU: Attended Temper High School in Kenosha, Wis... Under coach Charels Bradley, led the Trojans to a 15th place finish at the 2004 Wisconsin State Championships... Was an honorable mention all-state... A four-year first-team all conference member, a four-year all-country member, and a three-year all-area selection.
PERSONAL: Born Alaina Chase Zanin on September 14, 1986... Daughter of Mark and Lisa Zanin... Received a bachelors degree in journalism from Murray State University in May 2008 and currently pursuing a masters degree in organizational communication... Also a member of the MSU cross-country team.
