Bio
AT MSU: Competed in two meets for the Racers as a true freshman... Season bests both occurred at the Southern Illinois Saluki Fast Start on Dec. 8, throwing 11.25 meters (36-11.00) in the weight throw and 12.13 meters (39-09.75) in the shot put... Came in eighth place in the discus throw with a throw of 38.94m at the 2008 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships and also came in 14th place in the shot put with a throw of 11.03m.
BEFORE MSU: Attended Webster County High School in Dixon, Ky.... Broke several school records at WCHS under coach Terry Starks, including discus (136’6” in 2005) and indoor/outdoor shot put (indoor- 38’; outdoor- 40’)... Lettered in track and basketball... Was a member of the All-State track team all four years, and was the discus champion in 2006, while earning third place in the shot put in 2006.
PERSONAL: Born Lindi Jo Berry on Apr. 19, 1988... Daughter of Keith and Ellen Berry... Majoring in sociology.
