- The Racers and Golden Eagles meet for the 184th time, the most of any opponent MSU has faced in its 99 seasons.
- The Racers have won their last 25 non-conference home games since an 81-77 defeat to Auburn (12-19-2017).
- In 2023, the Racers will enjoy being in the friendly confines of the CFSB Center with six home games before New Year's Day.
- JaCobi Wood begins the night needing 106 points to reach 1000 for his collegiate career.
- In the season opening 91-58 win over Midway at home, Nick Ellington had a big debut with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, both career highs.

- Murray State senior Rob Perry is part of the All-MVC Preseason Team with a spot on the second team. In his first season with the Racers, the senior from Orlando, Fla., was ninth in MVC scoring at 14.3 points per game.
- Tuesday marks a big early tilt with old rival WKU (Nov. 14) coming to the CFSB Center. The Racers and Hilltoppers will play for the 152nd time and the first since 2014.
- Not only is Tuesday a big game, fans also get the chance to see Red Panda in action at halftime.
